Hope you feel better

It's Margaret guys!  I'm here this weekend to share a few creations I made in my art room this weekend.  My older daughter is hosting a surprise birthday party for her friend with other friends which got me and Claudia in the art room for a few hours--our favorite thing to do on the weekends.

Today, I made a card for one of our program assistants at work, who fell walking to her car and broke her ankle in several places.  Pretty severe--was hospitalized for about a week.  So we are all signing a card for her and I thought this would be a personal touch.

Kathy and I have been talking about using our stash...so I found this OLD stamp set in my drawers that I have never usedbut purchased about 4 or 5 years ago.  I cut the flowers and bird apart and layered and popped them up with foam tape.  I also included a closeup of the butterfly which is qhite sparkly but you can't tell from the photo.  I recently purchased a few of the new ink pads from Stampin Up which I used to stamp the bottom left flower.  Oh my!  I love them!  Very sticky and great coverage.  I was impressed.  The upper flower was inked with the older version of the SU ink...can't you see the difference?

Well thanks for stopping by!  Tomorrow I will be back with another fun card.  Enjoy the rest of your Saturday.  ~Margaret

I am also entering the card into Shelly's Images: TTT Challenge-April Showers Bring May Flowers.
Stamps:  Kaiser Craft (images), Rubber Stamp Tapestry (Sentiment)
